An operative of the Guardia Civil has captured in Ibiza a prominent member of the organization 'Ángeles del Infierno', A.S., of 37 years and German nationality, who was fleeing justice after his involvement in several operations for drug trafficking.

As reported on Friday from the OPC of the Civil Guard, this investigator was under a European Arrest and Surrender Order (OEDE) issued by the German justice.

The investigations were initiated when the Guardia Civil received information concerning the stay on the island of Ibiza of a German citizen who was to have fled the justice system of his country. This person would be part of the biker gang known as HELL`S ANGELS (Angels of Hell), and involved in drug trafficking operations, especially cocaine, methamphetamine and hashish, made for which he is requested prison sentences of up to 15 years.

The same sources indicated that once located, the agents were able to verify that the suspect would be on the island since September 2022. As a result of these checks, the agents set up a surveillance device on this person and proceeded to arrest him on Wednesday afternoon, when he was inside a restaurant in the city of Ibiza.

The operation was carried out by the Information Group of the Balearic Civil Guard and directed Central Court of Investigation Nº 2, of the National Court in Madrid.
