Not everything is worth traveling to Ibiza. A shocking video collected by the NYPost shows a big fight in the hallway of a Ryanair plane bound for Ibiza during boarding.
The images that were recorded by Lyndsay Cash show the woman, who wore a pink top, arguing with another passenger a few minutes before the planned departure from Manchester (UK) to Ibiza at 15.00 hours last Monday, reported Kennedy News and Media.
The absolutely out-of-control woman was pushed away after putting a wrench on her head while listening to a woman shout: «I will find you!».
As can be seen in the video broadcast, the passenger in question, in full rage, screams as some men, apparently their relatives, join the fight.
In addition, a man in a green shirt is seen pushing the woman away while trying to deal with the other people involved in the fight; at one point he also pushes a passenger and screams in the face of another.
Cash, a beautician from Wigan (Greater Manchester), told the media: «He pounced on everyone as soon as he got on the plane». She was drunk and when someone pointed it out she was offended and started fighting with everyone. They started fighting in the hallway and things got very aggressive», he added.
The police took the woman and three other people off the plane with applause.
The stewardesses didn't do much good and the children were upset. I didn't like the way it was handled. It bothered me and everyone else on the plane. Everyone applauded as they escorted her out and she even fought with the police», recalled Cash.
I think they should not have let her on the plane and the commissioners should have been much faster. The passengers were allowed to take care of it. If you can't stand it, don't drink», he said.
A spokesman for the Manchester police confirmed that there were altercations on the plane before takeoff, according to the media.
«The agents received a call at around 3 p.m., informing them that there were troublemakers on board a flight taking off from Manchester airport». «Two men in their 30s and a woman, also in their 30s, have been arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board an airplane», said the representative.
One of the men and woman were also arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers. All of them remain in custody for questioning», the statement added.
A Ryanair representative told Kennedy News that «a small number of passengers were upset» and added that the incident is a police matter.
«We sincerely apologize to the passengers affected by any inconvenience caused as a result of the disruptive behavior of these passengers», the airline said.
