Immobilize a 'pirate taxi' that made routes between ses Illetes and the port of La Savina

The Formentera Local Police have seized a car used as a pirate taxi on the way to ses Illetes in the port of La Savina. The agents had received numerous complaints from taxi drivers about a vehicle that was a regular pirate taxi in this area of the island, so they proceeded to mount an operation to confirm these suspicions.

This Tuesday the police were able to verify that the vehicle in question was a pirate taxi, so they proceeded to immobilize it and draw up the corresponding report. The case will now go to the Mobility Department to initiate the sanction file.

In case the owner wants to recover his vehicle, he must make a payment of 6.001 euros. In addition to the local police, the legal and mobility departments of the Formentera Island Council participated.
