The 35-year-old British tourist who died early on Tuesday after falling from a second floor in Portmany Bay was under the influence of hallucinogenic substances.

As pointed out on Wednesday from the OPC of the Civil Guard, during the eye inspection of the room the agents of the Civil Guard found various types of narcotic substances. Pending the final results of the autopsy, the first investigations suggest that the man moved by the effects of drugs.

The fatal fall occurred around 03.20 on Tuesday. 112 received notice of the presence of a man lying on Molí street, in Sant Antoni. Several units of the Local Police, Guardia Civil and a 061 ambulance were mobilized to the site. The doctors could only certify the man's death.

The Civil Guard took over the investigation.
