A Malta-based events company is organizing ‘nightclub’ flights to Ibiza, featuring electronic music sessions with an onboard DJ.

In images shared on social media by the company, as well as by participants of this flight, you can see the inside of a plane where passengers are standing, dancing, hitting the overhead luggage compartments, and filming the DJ with their phones. The DJ is performing from a mixing deck set up in the middle of the aisle. This company has posted the flight ‘schedule’ on its Instagram profile, specifying that boarding begins at 2:15 p.m., and DJs Pocci & Panelli start spinning at 2:50 p.m. There’s a brief break at 3:30 p.m., during which passengers are advised to use the restroom, as the DJs resume playing at 3:45 p.m. The flight lands in Ibiza at 5:00 p.m. "Times are subject to weather conditions. We kindly ask you to remain seated at all times with your seatbelt on, but have fun!" reads the recommendation poster they shared on Instagram.

These nightclub flights just started this week in September. "So excited to spin for the first time on a Malta-to-Ibiza flight. This began as a wild dream that has now come true thanks to a great team of professionals," wrote DJ Pocci on his social media. The first flight was fully booked, and these events are even sponsored by a well-known international soft drink brand in at least one raffle.
