The Guardia Civil has arrested a man in Ibiza for the theft of half a kilo of gold bullion stolen from a house in Sant Miquel de Balansat. The man, of Paraguayan nationality, was intercepted on May 9th at a people verification point set up by specialists from the Fiscal and Border Service of the Civil Guard in the port.

The traveler made the agents suspicious, who requested him for a luggage inspection. The civil guards found four gold ingots of 50 grams, 15 gold ingots of 20 grams each and five coins of the same metal. The agents verified that they had been stolen last April from a home in Sant Miquel.
