The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the Balearic Islands has activated the orange warning in Ibiza and yellow in Mallorca for risk of storms and rains this Saturday.
As reported by Aemet this Thursday in a Twitter message, in Ibiza has activated the orange warning for significant risk of rains and storms between 06.00 and 23.59 hours, which may leave up to 50 liters per square meter accumulated in an hour.
On the other hand, in Mallorca the yellow warning has been activated, in the same range of hours as in Ibiza, due to significant risk of rains and storms of up to 20 and 30 liters per square meter accumulated in an hour.
Also, the Aemet has recorded early this Thursday minimum temperatures of 10 degrees in Escorca, 13 degrees in Lluc and 15 in Palma University station.
Likewise, in the rest of Mallorca the minimum temperatures have reached 16 degrees in Calvià, Sineu, Petra, Binissalem, Campos and Andratx; the 17 degrees in Artà, Sa Pobla, Palma Airport, Santa Maria, Muro and Manacor; and the 18 in the Port of Pollença and Son Servera.
On the other hand, the minimum temperature has reached 19 degrees in Llucmajor, Pollença, Santanyí, Porreres, Campos, Salines, Port de Sóller, Cap Blanc, Colònia de Sant Pere. On their side, Banyalbufar and Portocolom have recorded 20 degrees minimum and Cabrera, Port of Palma and Capdepera, 21, 22 and 23 degrees, respectively.
In Menorca, the minimum temperatures this morning have remained at 18 degrees in Es Mercadal, 19 degrees in Ciutadella and Menorca Airport, and 20 degrees in La Mola.
On their side, in Sant Joan, in Ibiza, they have registered 15 degrees minimum. The rest of the island has reached 17 degrees in Ibiza and the airport, and up to 19 degrees in Formentera.
